What in the world did this guy bring to the ticket?
There was no initial poll bounce to Kerry upon his selection, and Edwards didn't help carry any southern state. In fact, the Edwards selection did little to nothing to mobilize any signifcant voting bloc.
Actually makes Gore's Lieberman selection look pretty damn good. Kerry would've been better off with a strong defense guy like Clark or somebody with "moral values" creds.
