Well I got to say that when reading all the high-hope and self-assurance on DKos in the run-up to the election, I was happily convinced of a Kerry victory.
Then, when that victory didn't happen I felt a lot like I did back when Dean lost the dem nomination after months of self-congratulatory Kossacks predicting certain victory. I remember in particular some pretty bad predictions happening around here regarding the Iowa primary results.
Now, as we democrats indulge in some warranted re-evaluation of the direction of the party, I'd suggest that the DKos community also take a hard look at the way groupthink functions on this board. There's too much confusion of hope with objective-analysis. We need more reality-based commentary and somewhat less rah-rah partisonship.
