I sense that Kos and some Kossacks are seriously underplaying this Kerry scandle. According to Drudge, the alleged affair began in 2001 and continued until recently when a news producer approached the woman and she fled to Africa. This is not the woman referred to by Kos in his comments on the main page.
I generally have confidence in Drudge with the big ones (if not the little ones). I think this thing is big and will only get bigger. I echo many Kossacks in noting that it is very fortunate that this eruption is occuring in the midst of the primary season rather than post-nomination.
